La French Tech Vietnam ("we", "us", "our") is a community initiative operating under the La French Tech label, dedicated to connecting and supporting entrepreneurs, startups, investors, and innovation stakeholders within the French–Vietnamese technology ecosystem.

La French Tech Vietnam is not a separate legal entity and operates with the support of the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Vietnam (CCIFV).

We are committed to respecting your privacy and protecting your personal information in accordance with applicable data protection legislation, including Vietnam's Law on Personal Data Protection (No. 91/2025/QH15) and its implementing regulations.

This Privacy Policy explains how personal information is collected, used, stored, and shared when you visit our website, subscribe to our communications, request to join our community, or interact with our activities.

Newsletter subscriptions and WhatsApp community participation are separate, voluntary choices. Consent to one does not constitute consent to the other.

When you subscribe to our newsletter, we use your email address and any relevant preferences you provide to send information about our activities, ecosystem news, events, and opportunities.

You may unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link in our emails or by contacting supportFTV@ccifv.org.

Unsubscribing from the newsletter does not automatically remove you from a separately requested WhatsApp community, and vice versa.

 

 

5. WhatsApp Community Participation

 

If you request to join a La French Tech Vietnam WhatsApp group or community, we may use your name, telephone number, and relevant professional information to review your request and facilitate participation.

WhatsApp is a third-party service operated by Meta. Its processing of personal information is governed by its own privacy policy.

When joining a WhatsApp group, your telephone number and certain profile information may be visible to other group members. Visibility within WhatsApp Communities may differ depending on the type of group, your relationship with other members, and WhatsApp's privacy settings.

Participation is voluntary. You may leave the group or community at any time through WhatsApp or contact us to request removal from our administrative records.

We encourage participants to respect the privacy of other community members and refrain from sharing their contact details without permission.

6. Website Analytics, Search Tools, and Cookies

 

Our website is hosted on Wix and may use cookies and similar technologies to support essential website functionality, security, and performance measurement.

We use or plan to use the following tools:

• Google Analytics: To understand how visitors access and interact with our website.

Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools primarily provide search performance and website indexing information. Their standard site verification and reporting functions do not necessarily require placing visitor analytics cookies.

• Microsoft, for Bing Webmaster Tools.

• Meta/WhatsApp, in connection with community participation.

• Authorized email communication or data management service providers used to deliver our activities.

• Competent public authorities when required by applicable law.

Access to personal information is limited to persons and providers who need it for an authorized purpose.

We do not provide our newsletter mailing list to community partners for their independent marketing activities without an appropriate legal basis and any required consent.

Our website and digital services rely on third-party technology providers that may process or store information outside Vietnam.

Depending on the services used, information may be processed in countries where Wix, Google, Microsoft, Meta, or other authorized providers operate.

No internet-based service can guarantee absolute security.
